Emergency Numbers to Call


If you need access to medical services urgently, you should:

Call NHS direct 0845 4647 for support and advice or go to:

Call your own GP surgery for an appointment or advice

Call the local GP out of hours service on 01782 719100

If you need access to dental services urgently and have a regular dentist,  please telephone 08456 031445. This is a triage service which can assess your needs according to agreed protocols and will provide advice and treatment as necessary.

If you need access to dental services urgently and do not have a regular dentist,  please contact the Dental Advice Line on 01782 425846 who will direct you to the Salaried Dental Service who provide care and treatment for anyone who doesn't have a usual NHS dentist and requires care urgently.
