Health Visiting and School Nursing Services
Health Visitors and School Nurses are specialist nurses who have an important role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and young people, especially those who are vulnerable or ill. They serve children and young people in their local communities and contact with the family begins with visits before baby is born and continues through until sixteen years (nineteen if specialist care is needed).
